This bathtub to shower conversion masterfully reclaims a 30" x 60" footprint, turning a traditional bathtub layout into a highly secure, organized, and sophisticated walk-in oasis. The shower base color is meticulously selected to match the modern texture of the Simtile pattern, while the surrounding walls are wrapped from floor to ceiling in the sleek, contemporary tones of Triton wall panels. Engineered for maximum comfort, a full bench seat is strategically positioned on the right side of the alcove. The layout is heavily optimized for storage and senior safety, boasting an impressive total of five corner shelves alongside a 12" side safety bar and a robust 24" center safety bar. The entire configuration is anchored by brilliant polished chrome fixtures, including a right-hand drain layout, a high-performance Moen Magnetix showerhead upgrade, and a matching chrome valve group. Showcasing the clean, tiled-look aesthetic, the wet area is beautifully enclosed by a 76" high semi-frameless chrome bi-pass door system featuring 1/4" glass and dual integrated through-glass towel bars. The final result is a bright, ultra-functional, and barrier-free retreat designed for effortless everyday luxury and absolute peace of mind.

This extensive renovation involved a full teardown and a stunning, custom layout redesign. We cleared the space by demolishing the existing shower surround down to the framing and removing an old deck tub, followed by capping off the old plumbing and installing fresh, paint-ready drywall. In place of the tub, we built a spacious shower featuring a center drain, elegant floor to ceiling Taj Mahal wall panels, and premium custom hinged glass doors extending up to 84" in height. The high end shower was outfitted with a premium Moen Magnetix chrome showerhead and valve, a folding teak seat, two 12" chrome safety bars, two built in corner shelves, a matching shower rod, and custom wrapped recessed niches. To complete the bathroom transformation, we also removed the old mirrors and installed a brand new, customer provided vanity mirror.
